The Secret Ingredient: Where Does That Unique Black Licorice Flavor Come From?

But don’t worry — this is one time that your sweet tooth won’t lead you astray. Glycyrrhizin has some anti-inflammatory properties, and helps your body keep cortisol, its own anti-inflammatory hormone, in the bloodstream longer.
